The Lego Club was started up by a group of 11th grade students after a bin of Lego blocks appeared in the upper school art room. A group of students showed up at lunch to create encampments, space ships and structures for nearly a month before they decided they wanted to create an official Lego club.
Lego club projects are deconstructed at the end of a trimester, only to be remade into new environments. Lego club allows the members to create and invent structures and forms from their imagination. For more information about the Lego club, contact faculty advisor Gretchen Tanzer.
