Carrie Salvatore has more than 25 years of experience working in independent schools and over 20 years in admissions. Originally from Greenwich, CT, she graduated from Greenwich Academy and Skidmore College before earning her MA degree in elementary education at Manhattanville College. While receiving her MA degree, she taught kindergarten and second grade at Greenwich Country Day School and began her admission career at Brunswick School also in Greenwich, CT. In between her admission roles, she was an independent school teacher for various grade levels. Most recently, Carrie was the Director of Admission at King School, a PK-12 independent school in Stamford, CT. Prior to that, she was the Associate Dean of Admission and Director of Marketing and Communication at Ethel Walker School, a private boarding and day school for girls in Simsbury, CT.
Carrie understands firsthand the benefits of an independent school education. Not only is she extremely experienced in admission, she is also highly regarded in the field. Her respect for an excellent educational experience and passion for building lasting relationships supports the mission of Cape Cod Academy.
Carrie is not a newcomer to Cape Cod having summered in Chatham for more than 20 years. She is thrilled to be back on the Cape on a full-time basis.
