On behalf of the entire Cape Cod Academy community, I want to welcome you to CCA. I am so pleased you are interested in learning more about our school. CCA is committed to helping families find the right school, and we feel strongly that the admission process should be a personal and reciprocal relationship. We would like to get to know you, and we would like for you to get to know us.
CCA is deeply dedicated to fostering a life-long drive in students to learn and grow and make a difference in the world. We are excited to introduce you to what makes CCA an exceptional educational experience for students in kindergarten through grade 12.
CCA is an independent co-educational college preparatory day school for students in kindergarten through grade 12. Founded in 1976, the school is located on a gorgeous 46-acre campus that features outdoor classrooms, multiple athletic fields, two gymnasiums, tennis courts, state-of-the art science labs, music pavilions, multiple art studios, photo labs, and a black box theatre. Our mission is to instill a love of learning in students as they pursue academic excellence and develop life skills in a safe, values-centered community.
CCA’s challenging and dynamic college preparatory program is enriched by opportunities in the arts, athletics, and community service. Our students leave CCA exceptionally well prepared for college and beyond. One-hundred percent of Cape Cod Academy seniors are accepted to four-year colleges, with the majority matriculating to the top colleges and universities in the country.
Like no other school in our area, CCA has a vibrant population of international students who bring an added engagement to our school. These students enhance our diversity and bring a cross-cultural perspective to our domestic students, widening their awareness of different values and beliefs and improving social skills.
Innovation flourishes at CCA. We have accomplished, intuitive, and experienced faculty whose teaching is collaborative, holistic, and supportive. Our teachers are encouraged to develop new approaches based on the best research and their own experiences. Our faculty teach to the whole child, therefore our students thrive, not just in their studies, but as thoughtful, engaging, and contributing human beings.
I invite you to schedule a visit to our campus to see first-hand how our values are reflected in our classrooms each and every day.
I look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,
Jeff Thompson
Head of School
