    Introduction to Upper School

    For Parents of Eighth-Grade Students
    Thursday, November 14, 2024
    6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    Davis Commons

    Parents of eighth-graders are invited to join Cape Cod Academy faculty and administrators for an in-depth look into CCA’s upper school on Thursday, November 14 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the academic, athletic, and college counseling programs in the Upper School. Parents will also speak with two seniors who have just completed the college application process. Additionally, Conan Leary, our Athletic Director, will discuss the growing athletic offerings available to upper school students.
     
    Parents and guardians will then enjoy student-led tours through the upper school classrooms that will include stops in the marine science lab with Abby Wood, the art room with Jan Rapp and Tom Coute, Russ Gasdia’s AP US Government class, the Learning Center with Nancy Boyle and Amy Powers, and Scott Andrew’s iconic round table for a peek into a philosophy class.     Parents of fifth-graders are invited to join Cape Cod Academy faculty and administrators for a discussion about CCA’s middle school on Wednesday, November 20 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the academic, athletic, and experiential learning opportunities at Cape Cod Academy. Nancy Boyle will share information about our Personalized Approach to Learning. Daniella Garran, our Director of Student Activities, will speak about upcoming trips and events. Conan Leary, our Athletic Director, will discuss the growing athletic offerings available to middle school students. We hope you will join us.
