  • 4-H Babysitting Club (Grades 4-6)

    Are you interested in learning how to be the most fun and responsible babysitter you can be? Then the 4-H babysitting course is for you! By following the steps and learning the skills that the 4-H club has developed, young sitters will establish a strong foundation that is needed to be a caring, trustworthy, responsible, and competent babysitter.

    Class Details: Mondays, January 27th– March 2nd, 4 sessions, 3:00-4:15 PM for $100

  • Creative Clay Time (Grades 2-5)

    Please join Mrs. Eldredge in the Art Room on Wednesday afternoons to create functional pieces of out of clay. This will be a fun three-dimensional art experience for students. The group will learn the three basic hand-building techniques along with clay rules and how to make a successful work of art. We will experiment with texture, form, and space while shaping mugs, bowls, plates, and covered vessels.

    Class Details: Wednesdays, January 22nd– March 4th, 6 sessions, 3:00-4:00 PM for $140

  • Creative Writing (Grades 2-5)

    Do you like to tell stories? Have you ever dreamed of becoming a famous author or publishing your own book? Now is your chance! Come join Ms. Mayer, one of our middle/upper school English teachers, in a workshop-based creative writing class. Students will learn the process of writing, editing, illustrating, and "publishing" their writing and have the opportunity to compose a variety of written pieces. From concrete poetry to short stories to autobiographical compositions, students will expand their literary vocabulary, refine their writing skills, and collaborate with peers in a fun, creative, and enriching environment. Grab a pencil and notebook and join us!

    Class Details: Tuesdays, January 21st– March 3rd, 6 sessions, 3:00-4:00 PM for $120

  • Healthy Foods for Life (Grades 3-5)

    Wish your kids wanted to eat healthy? Watch them transform through this fun, six-week, Healthy Foods for Life Program, where kids become food explorers and food detectives. Through these interactive lessons and activities, children learn about exercise, healthy eating habits, and mindfulness, and they participate in food prep and tastings. Kids learn what will help them thrive and how to take care of this one body they’ll have for life. The concept is simple, but the understanding is life-changing, providing the foundation for a lifetime of good health! Parents are welcome to join, too.

  • Knitting (Grades 2-5)

    Stay cozy this winter by learning to knit with Mrs. Berbine. Students will learn about needle size, gauge, yarn weights, reading patterns and how to create different stitches. Beginners will lean basics, such as casting on, knitting, and purling. Experienced students can bring a project that interests them with which Mrs. Berbine will help them. Patterns and yarn are provided for our newest knitters. All students will need to bring their own needles. The young knitters will learn how to keep a project notebook and keep written and photographic records of their work for reference.

  • Play-Learn-Grow (Grades K-2)

    It’s so important to keep kids active, while having fun. Klub Kidz truly believes a child can learn a great deal from simply being a kid– by playing, moving, being silly, and just having fun! We emphasize respect, responsibility, teamwork, friendship and of course– sportsmanship!
     
    Class Details: Wednesdays, January 22nd– March 4th, 6 sessions, 2:45-3:45 PM for $165

  • Young Yogis (Grades 2-4)

    Join registered Yoga teacher, Mrs. Durfey, for an afternoon of yoga fun, where the students will have a chance to unwind, unplug, and have fun while gaining strength, flexibility, balance, and focus. Each class will incorporate breath-work, yoga poses, songs, games, mindfulness activities, and finish with a peaceful moment of relaxation. Come with comfy clothes and be ready to have fun! No prior experience needed.
