First Week of Distance Learning Wraps Up

Dear Families,

We have successfully completed our first week of distance learning at Cape Cod Academy. I cannot thank you enough for your patience as students and teachers navigate this new learning process. Thank you for helping the students acclimate to their new learning environment and schedule.

I am grateful to all our faculty members who have demonstrated tremendous flexibility, collaboration, and commitment to supporting our students and families. Our parents have also shown great understanding, and on behalf of all the teachers, I am grateful for the kind words and messages you continue to send us.

Please remember that there are no extracurricular activities taking place so no students should be gathering at the school. If a student needs an item, books, or other materials from CCA, please contact his/her teacher or dean, and we will make accommodations to retrieve the items.

We realize the importance of students staying connected with teachers and classmates during this time. We have witnessed their joy working with peers in their virtual classrooms. Help us to continue these connections by sending us photos of your children learning or interacting in their new environment, and we will post them on social media or include in our newsletter. Please email photos to news@capecodacademy.org.

Our faculty and staff remain committed to supporting students and families through these challenging times. If you need assistance or have any questions, please contact me at jthompson@capecodacademy.org.
