Welcome

Welcome to Cape Cod Academy!  Here on the Cape, one independent school offers a K through 12 education that both respects and challenges your child as he or she grows from curious explorer all the way to college-ready thinker. As you begin exploring our website I encourage you to consider our mission and core values in addition to our academic offerings. In a recent article in Education Week, the Brookings Institution reported that "character competencies have as much of an effect on success as academic skill." The researchers that measured character skills found that children who exhibit strong character strengths attain greater levels of education and, as a result, earn more and tend to perform better in other areas of life.  At CCA "character competencies" such as resilience, empathy, self-determination, compassion and initiative are part of what we teach and model every day.

What does that mean to us?  At Cape Cod Academy, everything we do is centered on our belief that character and values matter:  To provide a transformative educational experience through relationship-based learning that focuses on compassion, honesty, respect, and scholarship.  Our students perform well because we instill a love of learning and challenge each of them individually.  We teach character and core values intentionally because we know that students need more than the common core to be successful in life.  A CCA education builds a foundation that fosters character growth and overall achievement. I invite you to schedule a visit to our campus to see first hand how our values are reflected in our classrooms each and every day.

Looking forward to meeting you!
