Arts & Crafts Camp for Ages 4-6

This two-week session (one-week option available) is for children ages 4-6 and will be in-person and socially distant for four days a week. Children who sign up for this program will enjoy outside play adventures and experiment with the creation of two-dimensional and three-dimensional works of art. Campers will be introduced to many different mediums, creating a variety of projects, from Eric-Carle-inspired paper projects to 3-D sculptures and graphic novels. There will be some creative play happening in the art room and outside in fun, shady spaces. The program is designed to keep kids actively engaged, learning, and having fun all at the same time.  

Drop-off will be between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m. The day will begin with games and activities. Next will be creative time in the art studio spaces (indoor/outdoor depending on the weather). Snack is at 10:15 a.m., followed by 10 minutes of playtime to run around outdoors while enjoying a mask break. Around 10:45 a.m., we will read a child-friendly art book about a famous artist for inspiration. The last part of the day will be dedicated to more creative time followed by clean-up and pack-up for noon dismissal.
