  • 4-H Babysitting Course (Grades 5-7)

    Are you interested in learning how to be the most fun and responsible babysitter you can be? Then the 4-H babysitting course is for you! By taking this course, you will develop the skills needed to be a caring, trustworthy, responsible and competent babysitter.

    4–H Babysitting Course Information: 
    Class Details: Thursdays, December 13th -February 14th, 8 sessions, 3:15-4:30 PM for $45 at Cape Cod Academy
    No Class Held on the Following Dates: December 27th, & January 3rd-
    Make-Up Date (if needed): February 28th

  • Eats and Treats (Grades K-2)

    Eats and Treats 
    Join Ms. Mongeau in the Wool Shop kitchen for beginner baking classes. Students will learn cooking and baking vocabulary, ingredient measurements, and a little kitchen chemistry. This four-week course will introduce future chefs to the kitchen and all the fun and wonderful tools used in the process. All gadgets, utensils, and activities will be safe and age-appropriate. Come bake, flour, and frost this winter! 
    Class Details: Mondays, January 14th-February 11th, 4 sessions, 3:15-4:30 PM for $100

    Buttons & Beads 
    Michelle Pelletier is back at CCA and is offering a fun and creative outlet for the students. K-2 students are invited to join the Buttons and Beads class to make gifts for themselves and the favorite people in their lives. Design and make bracelets, necklaces, rings, decorative flower pots, frames and more! Creativity is encouraged and has no bounds! 
    Class Details: Tuesdays, December 11th– February 12th, 8 sessions, 3:15-4:15 PM for $150

  • Music and Movement “Winter Wednesdays” (Grades K-2)

    Music and Movement “Winter Wednesdays” 
    Young dance students will focus on “all thing winter” in this January inter-session. Join Cathy for four-weeks of dance, stories, games, improvisation and games. This class helps to create rhythm and movement, and body awareness through dance. Imagination is encouraged in this fun class!

  • Mini STEAM with PinkyInc (Grades K-2)

    Mini STEAM with PinkyInc 
    In a world where technology is readily at our fingertips, the next generation of today’s leaders are learning how to adapt this technology to solve the problems they face. Our youngest learners have such an intuitive sense of how to best apply technology to meet their needs, they are rapidly surpassing adults in use of technology. This is an impressive display of the application of the knowledge and we should be nurturing the development of these skills, which is just what PinkyInc wishes to do! PinkyInc is a place for kids to enhance and embrace their creative problem solving. Mini-STEAM students will learn about different areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math, while developing a curiosity and interest in one or more areas. Students who have participated in STEAM with PinkyInc will be challenged further by choosing an area they found most interesting and building their own project.

    STEAM Club with PinkyInc

  • After-School Beginner Band (Gr. 4 band members & new Gr. 5)

    After-School Beginner Band 
    Mr. Gamache is offering an after-school program for 4th grade band students and new 5th grade band members. Tuesday afternoons will offer an opportunity to improve band and individual instrument skills. Come and work on band music and concert preparation, along with individual instrumental concerns. The best part of all?! Making music!!

    Hamilfans with Mrs. MacManus 
    This fan club is based on a mutual appreciation for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s popular Broadway hit: Hamilton. We’ll listen to the score, sing our favorite songs, and celebrate all things Hamilton. We’ll let Lin’s creative genius inspire us and we’ll dive into whatever direction it takes– learning more about history, writing our own educational raps, sample food from revolutionary America, analyze costume choice, debate character development, or recreate a duel! If you love Hamilton, this is the club for you. Don’t throw away your shot!

    Theater Thursdays with Michelle Pelletier 
    Practice and perform the short play ‘The Goddesses’ Bottle.’ Three Goddesses’ carefully protect their secret bottles that are stored in the mountains. Grandfather, the honored keeper of the key, is eager to help his granddaughter, Yami. Join this after-school program to find out the ending to this adventurous tale to save the family!
