Located on 44 beautiful acres in the seaside town of Osterville, MA, Cape Cod Academy is an independent day school serving children in grades kindergarten through grade 12.
CCA strives for academic excellence throughout each aspect of our students' educational journey and consists of three divisions—Lower School (K – grade 5), Middle School (grades 6 – 8), and Upper School (grades 9 – 12).
Our small class sizes average 12 students, allowing our exceptional faculty to get to know each student and understand how they learn best and how they are doing socially and emotionally. Developing meaningful relationships enable faculty to tailor classroom lessons that will provide the tools students need to thrive, as they are challenged to be the best they can be.
On the athletic surfaces, our coaches get to know each player, work with them to compete at the highest levels, and build teams that excel in all areas of team sports. And, we have had great success over the years with players going on to compete at DI, DII, and DIII colleges and universities across the country.
Our personalized approach enables our students to Learn More. Become More.
In 2024, Cape Cod Academy was awarded the prestigious Edward E. Ford Traditional Grant. This distinguished grant is awarded to a limited number of schools each year, and applications are by invitation only after a preliminary vetting process. The grant will be used to expand the unique personalized learning taking place at Cape Cod Academy. The award is $100,000 and requires a one-to-one matching component.
Cape Cod Academy was pleased to receive a matching grant of $100,000 from The Donald C. McGraw Foundation and David and Melissa McGraw, grandparents of a CCA student. David is also a former member of the school’s Board of Trustees, served as Board Chair from 2009 - 2015, and is currently a Life Trustee. The Donald C. McGraw foundation is a family fund created by the late Donald C. McGraw – President and CEO of McGraw Hill – once one of the largest publishing houses in the world. The foundation is administered by his grandsons and is focused on advancing community efforts in health, education, and human services.

CommonSenseDigital Citizenship Certified School
Cape Cod Academy is a CommonSenseDigital Citizenship Certified School, an honor that recognizes our efforts in teaching digital literacy and citizenship to young people and engaging the entire school community in this important discussion. This recognition is provided by Common Sense Education, part of a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology. CCA is dedicated to teaching young people how to be safe, responsible digital citizens.
We are one of the more than 100,000 schools across the country that use Common Sense Education’s groundbreaking education resources. As a result, our students are better equipped to navigate the digital world and use devices for learning.
CCA students come here from over 21 different communities across the Cape, South Shore, and South Coast--as far north as Pembroke, as far east as Eastham & Chatham, as far west as Marion.

National Flags of our CCA Community.
The national flags hanging in Davis Commons represent the citizenship or dual-citizenship of CCA students and recent alumni. We embrace and celebrate the strength and richness that we derive from our diversity of culture and ethnicity.
Cape Cod Academy seeks diversity in all aspects of school life. Accordingly, in admissions, financial aid and loan programs, extracurricular activities, and educational programs, Cape Cod Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, or ethnic origin.
We came to CCA for the atmosphere that surrounds kids: warmth, happiness, and relationships. These qualities open the door to learning and stretching yourself." Lower School Parent
