The 2025 Cape Cod Academy Summer Programs are sanctioned by the Department of Public Health, Town of Barnstable. Our team of experienced summer instructors looks forward to offering high-energy, educational, and fun activities for all ages.

Fun Archery Games (Ages 5-11)
In this exciting Archery Games camp, kids will learn the basics of archery while having fun with engaging, friendly competitions and skill-building exercises. Whether students are aiming for targets or participating in creative archery challenges, this camp offers a dynamic mix of focus, teamwork, and outdoor fun! Learn Better Golf (Ages 5-11)
Kids will learn a simple six-step formula for the golf swing and the rules of golf. Equipment will be provided and various techniques will be learned on campus: full swing, putting, chipping, pitching, and proper etiquette.AgesAges 5-11Week 1: June 23 - 27 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Scoops Lacrosse (Ages 3-8)
Open to boys and girls ages three to eight years old, Scoops Summer Lax Clinic is a super fun and incredibly lawcrawsome experience aimed at enhancing each child’s overall lacrosse development. At Scoops, the goal is simple: inspire the next generation of laxers to be happy, healthy, and confident both on and off the field.We have a ridiculously fun, action-packed agenda plan that includes a curriculum filled with games and learning designed for maximum amounts of fun. Each Scooper will receive instruction by our amazing, expert, co-ed Scoop Squad. Each camper will receive an award-winning Scoops Summer T-Shirt and many opportunities to win prizes during daily competition – including sticks, Scoops gear, and other fun prizes.At Scoops Summer Lax Clinic, everyone will leave a winner, because everyone will leave with more confidence, skills, memories, and so many more smiles.

Summer Basketball Program

Join us this summer for a week of basketball skills clinics that will be run and taught by experienced local coaches. The week will include five full days of fun and competitive basketball suitable for all skill levels. Red Sky Sports Academy (Ages 5-13)
Cape Cod Academy is pleased to continue its partnership with Red Sky Sports Academy for the summer of 2025. Red Sky Sports Academy, a premier multi-sport day camp on Cape Cod, offers a variety of sports, including soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, street hockey, and flag football. Every sport is tailored to each individual's ability, from beginner to future star!The Red Sky staff is comprised of professional athletes, high school coaches, as well as college and high school athletes. While all staff members are highly proficient in their sports, they understand that each camper comes with his/her own set of abilities. Red Sky Sports Academy uses challenging and attainable athletic goals to foster the love of sport and teach campers how to make good choices both on and off the playing field.

Nike Soccer Camp with Liverpool FC International Academy (Ages 7-14)
Learn how to train and play 'The Liverpool Way' this summer at the Nike Soccer Camp at Liverpool FC International Academy. The camp will be held at Cape Cod Academy. Liverpool Football Club prides itself on creating the best environment for the development of young players, both as athletes and as people. GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp (Ages 6-16)
GameBreaker returns to Cape Cod in 2025 for our 13th year. Located in Osterville, MA the Cape Cod Academy lacrosse clinic has become a summer tradition. Join us for great instruction while you're on vacation!

Group Swim Lessons
Join us this summer in Cape Cod Academy's heated outdoor pool for group swim lessons for all ages!
Beginners (Ages 6 months - 4 years):Children ages six months to four years with no swimming experience should register for parent-child swim lessons where an adult swims with the student.Preschool and Kindergarten (Ages 3-6):Students should register for their appropriate age group to learn beginner swimming and safety skills. Swim assessments for all students are available by request to determine a child’s level for registration.Grade School (Ages 5-14):If students are comfortable in the water, please register them for intermediate- advanced group lessons.All students will learn front and back floats and beginning stroke development, and they will receive an introduction to freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly when ready. They will learn kicking, arm motions, and side breathing progression skills for each stroke. Safety skills will be taught – treading water, turning, front to back floats, finning, bobbing, and jumping into and climbing out of the pool. When ready, students will work on breath control, body position, alternate breathing, kicking skills, stroke progression, and endurance. -
Swim & Lunch (Ages 4-14)
Cape Cod Academy is pleased to offer Swim & Lunch to accommodate campers for one hour (12:00 - 1:00 p.m.) while transitioning from a morning activity or camp to lunch and afternoon programs with our certified counselors. This program is for campers ages 4 -14. Campers are welcome to participate after their morning activities or prior to their afternoon sessions.This program will begin as a four-day (Monday -Thursday) program during the weeks of June 23-26 and June 30-July 3. Beginning July 7, Swim & Lunch will become a five-day (Monday -Friday) program.Swim & Lunch Program (Weeks 1 & 2)12:00-1:00 p.m.

Cost: $75.00 per weekFull-week registrations for the Swim & Lunch program will be honored first. If space is available, daily drop-in registrations will be welcomed. Availability will be posted seven days prior to each session's start date. The daily drop-in fee is $25 per day.
A typical Swim & Lunch schedule will include lunch at noon, followed by swimming. In the event of inclement weather, participants will enjoy our indoor gymnasiums and special projects; swimming may not occur. Private, Semi-Private, & Triple Private Swim Lessons
Private, semi-private, and triple private lessons are available to schedule upon request beginning May 1, 2024. Lessons will be focused on beginner to advanced stokes and skills for those who want to learn at any age. To arrange for private lessons after purchasing a package of lessons on our website, please email Erin Flynn at swimming@capecodacademy.org. Pool opens in May, and private lessons usually begin around Memorial Day weekend, weather permitting. -
Family Swim
Family Swim / Grandparent Swim will be offered beginning on June 23, 2025 and will be held on Mondays and Fridays from from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The rate is $10 per person / $20 per family.
Monday, August 18 and Friday, August 22, 2025 are the last days for family swim this summer. -
Lap Swimming
Individual Lap Swimming: Designated lap swimming times are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The rate is $10 per person.
Effective Friday, August 15, 2025, lap swim hours will be limited due to staffing.
Additional lap lanes are also available during many group lesson times from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday-Thursday and weekend mornings from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Please ask lifeguards/instructors if any additional times are available. -
Pool Rental
Great for Birthday and Family Celebrations. Weekend hours are available for two or more hours for pool rentals. A minimum 2-hour pool rental is $200 per hour, which includes a certified lifeguard. If there are more than 21 persons on pool deck/in pool area, an additional lifeguard will be required for $75.00 for 2 hours or $110 for 3 hours. Picnic tables and chairs will be provided. Code It (Ages 8-12)

Our teachers deliver clear and entertaining instruction to ensure students have fun while learning complex coding skills using emojis that represent HTML text, which lowers the barriers to new coders and increases their excitement and understanding of computer science. Students will build animations, websites, and video games; explore multiple coding languages; program robots; create STEM-based projects both on and offline, and will be encouraged to share their projects when they get home. Students will also work with interactive circuit boards to understand the basics of currents and work with their teacher to build fun hands-on projects. -

Design Masters: Crafting in Minecraft (Ages 7-12)

In this fun and interactive class, children will explore the fascinating world of wild animals and their unique habitats through playful themes, story time, and exciting games. Level Up: Video Game Design (Ages 5-9)

Campers will explore the fundamentals of game design, starting with HTML programming and incorporating AI technology for storytelling and image creation, unlocking endless possibilities. They will enhance their writing skills by coding trivia challenges and immersive choose-your-own-adventure games. In addition, participants will collaborate on a group project, applying their skills to create a game they can proudly share with friends and family. No prior experience or special software is needed—just bring your creativity and a laptop! Note: K-1st grade campers will use a simplified coding platform with intuitive tools to design custom games based on their interests. -

Science by the Sea (Grades 3-8)
Cape Cod Academy’s Science by the Sea Camp is an ideal way for students entering grades 3-8 to explore their enthusiasm for the natural environment that locally abounds on Cape Cod. Whether campers have been exploring these ecosystems for years or are new to the Cape, this program will introduce them to the scientific aspects of salt marshes, tidal flow, sandy beaches, and rocky shorelines that are unique to Cape Cod. Our youngest marine biologists will be engaged with creative, active, and hands-on projects that keep their bodies and minds active both in the field and in the science laboratory on Cape Cod Academy’s beautiful campus. Middle school-aged kids will be choosing a focus question to experimentally answer by the end of the week. Campers will be transported via the school's bus to local waterways for hands-on learning.This program will be led by Abby Wood, our resident Marine Biologist and Science Faculty at Cape Cod Academy. Science Beach Buddies (Ages 3-6)
TBACostTBACape Cod Academy’s Science Beach Buddies program is designed for our youngest campers to embrace the joys of the local ecosystem through developmentally appropriate, play-based activities. Children will have the opportunity to explore a variety of arts and crafts media, literature, songs, movement activities, and sensory experiences as they connect with some of the natural elements in the world around them that are unique to Cape Cod and the coast. Week 1 will focus on the history and geographical features specific to Cape Cod and the Islands; Week 2 will feature wildlife and conservation. The class instructor is Nadina Pendleton who is a licensed elementary school teacher currently working in special education in Longmeadow, MA. -

Blast off into space with this exciting camp, where children will explore the solar system, stars, the Milky Way, and fascinating constellations. Blend-It-Up (Ages 8-12)
In our Blend-It-Up camp, kids will dive into the art of blending to make smoothies, dips, and other tasty creations from around the world. Campers will explore a variety of nutritious recipes, such as Mediterranean hummus, Mexican guacamole, and classic American smoothies. Along the way, they will learn essential blending techniques, kitchen safety, and expand their culinary vocabulary in a fun, hands-on environment. Books and Bites (Ages 5-9)
TBACostTBABooks will come alive in this fun, engaging class for students. We will be sharing a different interactive read-aloud suitable for this age group each day, create a fun craft, and make delicious snacks that correspond to the book we are sharing. Each day, your child will come home with a craft and snack to make the selected book come alive. We will also be sharing games and fun activities, such as reader’s theater, floral arranging, and active games. Please list any food allergies when you register your child. Materials are included as part of the course fee. -
Creative Writing (Ages 6-12)
In this engaging writing class, students will explore various writing styles, including narrative, expository, persuasive, and descriptive, while enhancing their creativity and skills. Their work will be compiled into a personal portfolio, providing them with a lasting collection to share with family and celebrate their progress.

Culinary Passport: Cooking Around the World (Ages 5-9)
In this class, campers will be engaged while discovering how to prepare delicious international and American dishes safely and skillfully. Your mini chef will enjoy exploring diverse recipes from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, while learning food prep tips and tricks they can use throughout their life. During our sessions, your child will play kids' games from other countries, learn food terms from around the world, and receive simple recipes they can use at home.

Tutoring is available in many different subjects, including reading, writing, math, and science. Taught by highly qualified, trained CCA teachers, these programs are tailored for students entering kindergarten through grade 12 and are open to all students regardless if they attend CCA or another school. -

Calling all aspiring writers. Do you want to learn how to write a feature story? Create hooks that reel your reader in? Practice the art of the interview with others in the class and a special inspiring guest? Create a group mini-magazine or newspaper for the end of the week? Join us for Young Reporters. Various writing genres will be shared, introduced, and celebrated.
