Planned Giving

THE 1976 SOCIETY

Cape Cod Academy’s planned giving program, the 1976 Society, is made up of donors who include CCA in their estate plans, to both embody their deep and abiding love for the school and invest in the gift of education.

Education is an investment in a better world. Tomorrow’s leaders will need a solid foundation to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. Cape Cod Academy instills the four core values of scholarship, honesty, compassion, and respect in its students. We hope students carry these attributes into their adult lives as a foundation, shaping them to become caring and responsible adults. We invite you to join us in helping Cape Cod Academy preserve our core values by including the school in your estate plans.

Mr. James LeBlanc and Robert Wulfing of Osterville, MA were devoted to education and cared deeply about giving under-privileged children the opportunity for the best possible education. When they first met with their attorney to set up their estate, they knew that Cape Cod Academy should be one of two recipients. Why Cape Cod Academy? Because the institution was well established and had an excellent reputation. The planned gift that CCA received from Mr. LeBlanc and Mr. Wulfing was very intentional and represented a long-standing decision that they had made well before their deaths. Their attorney, Charlie Chase, believes deeply that every estate plan should include charitable giving in some way.

Cape Cod Academy is grateful for the benefit of the Wulfing planned gift and the immediate and important impact it will have on our students.
