POSTPONED: MS & US First Day - Camp Burgess Retreat Trip

Dear Middle and Upper School Families,
This is a reminder that on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 6, all middle and upper school students will be traveling to Camp Burgess in Sandwich for a day of team-building and problem-solving fun. All students should wear sneakers and their new Cape Cod Academy t-shirts, which they will receive during the Welcome Back to School Day on August 31
Students will be outside for much of the day, rain or shine; sunscreen is encouraged. They may also want to bring a swimsuit and towel as they will have the opportunity to swim in the lake. Students will also need to bring a bag lunch, including a drink and water bottle.
Students should be at school by 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday. They will leave for Camp Burgess via bus soon after they arrive on campus. Middle and upper school students will return to campus via bus after 2:30 p.m., in time for the school day dismissal and athletic practices.
We hope all students are looking forward to being together on Tuesday. Shared experiences such as these help us to solve problems working together, develop effective communication and decision-making strategies, and grow together as a group.
