Dance Attendance Rules
 
  • The dance is open to students in grades 9 through 12 only.
  • Tickets are sold in advance only.  You may not purchase a ticket at the door.
  • The dance is from 7 to 10 p.m.  You must arrive by 7:45 p.m. and  leave promptly at 10 p.m.  Do not wait until the dance is over to call for a ride.
  • If you plan to bring a non CCA guest, you must provide his/her name, address and parents’ phone number when you purchase tickets. 
  • Dress for the event is “semi-formal”.  Boys should wear a collared dress shirt, tie, jacket, long pants and dress shoes.  Girls should wear appropriate dresses and shoes.  You must dress appropriately (and remain dressed appropriately) to attend the dance.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any food or beverage (including water) into the building.
  • Please check in with the chaperones when you arrive.
  • Once you arrive, you must remain at the dance until you leave to go home.
  • If you leave before 10 p.m., you must sign out with the chaperone at the door.
  • Dancing is encouraged but it must be an appropriate style for a public place and a school dance.  “Grinding” and other sexually suggestive dancing is not appropriate.
  • You are responsible for communicating these rules to any non-CCA guests you bring.
