Lifeguard Certification- includes pool and open water
Desire and ability to work with children and adults in a busy camp setting
Ability in supervising campers

General Responsibilities
Provide physical and emotional safety, enjoyment, and well-being for all campers with whom you come into contact; lead by example in respecting differences among campers and staff; and carry out in a professional manner all responsibilities associated with providing superior primary oversight for campers in the pool.
Specific Responsibilities
Keeping campers safe
Scanning pool and preventing misuse of “pool rules”
Administering first aid when needed
Test pool water three times daily
Clean skimmers daily
Scrub pool daily
Vacuum the pool two times a week (Monday and Thursdays)
Pick up pool deck at the end of the day
Informing camp director of any needed equipment
Ability to communicate and work with other staff and provide necessary instruction
to campers
Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other
