Seahawks outpace Sharks

RSH
It was a beautiful in Osterville today.  A light northerly breeze held for a portion of the day, allowing for three races to be completed before the breeze shut off.  CCA jumps out to a quick 1-2 lead in race on on their way to a 7-14 win.  Alex Daigle '25 sailed with Max Wesp '26.  Lydia Stanney '27 sailed with Alex Herman '26 and Noah Belson '25 sailed with Alex "Sparky" Parker '28, who competed in her first varsity meet.  The Seahawks jumped to a 1-3 lead in race #2 but were forced to fight through some traffic on their way to a 10-11 win.  Nick Kowaleski '25 with Ariel Belson '26 (also competing in her first varsity meet) came in for race three and helped the squad secure a 8-13 win, so a clean sweep.
The race committee tried to start more races, but the wind shut off and racing was called for the day.

Next up for CCA was is a trip to Newport for a quad meet with East Greenwich HS (RI), North Kingstown HS (RI) and Portsmouth HS (RI).
