Spanish students celebrate el dia de los muertos!

This special day is a yearly ritual when the living remember their departed relatives. Although the title may initially offer a mixed message, the Day of the Dead celebration is a beautiful ritual where people happily and lovingly remember their loved relatives that have died.  It is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd in Mexico.

Students in Sra. Jones class created an offering table and wrote stories about their loved one's who have departed. Following the readings, the class celebrated the day with desserts and other wonderful treats.

Feliz Dia de los Muertos!
