Seahawks Qualify for NEW ENGLANDS
For the first time since 2016, Cape Cod Academy has qualified to compete in the New England Fleet Racing Championship for the George O'Day Trophy. The squad earned their bid by finishing 5th at the qualifying regatta held at Hyannis YC on Sunday April 26th. Max Wesp '26 & Ariel Belson '26 posted 28 points in 4 races and finished 7th in A-Division. Lydia Stanney '27 & Alex "Sparky" Parker '28 combined for 18 points and a 5th place finish in division.

The O'Day trophy will be sailing at Hyannis YC May 9-10. CCA last appeared in this regatta in 2016. In 2013, the Seahawks won the O'Day and qualified for Nationals (Mallory trophy), where they finished 2nd.
