Affordable for All

Cape Cod Academy is fully committed to enrolling a diverse student body; diverse in terms of interests, talents, race, ethnicity, and economic background. We strive to make our school accessible to as many children as possible to ensure our community is diverse, inclusive, and academically enriching. To this end, CCA has developed the Personalized Tuition Program dedicated to promoting access to the school to all qualified students, regardless of family financial circumstances. The Personalized Tuition Program allows the school to adjust a family’s tuition so that it is equitably proportionate to their financial resources while also balancing the school’s operational needs.

The maximum tuition level will be determined each year by the Board of Trustees. If a family chooses to not participate in the Personalized Tuition Program, they will pay the established fee for their child’s applicable division level.

Tuition for each student is based on a sliding scale and is determined after a student is accepted to CCA. Tuition for 2024-2025 is a sliding scale from $5,000-$36,600 for the year, with a discount available for siblings.

We encourage families to apply for the Personalized Tuition Program if they have concerns about their ability to afford the maximum tuition level. While every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition and fees, and to support the community to the extent family circumstances permit, CCA does not expect each tuition level to be the same.

Applying for Personalized Tuition
Cape Cod Academy is eager to encourage all qualified students to apply to the school. We are actively committed to maintaining a school community of students from diverse backgrounds and experiences and our Personalized Tuition Program helps to make a CCA education accessible to all.

The first step is to complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) with the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) each year of matriculation.

Cape Cod Academy subscribes to the National Association of Independent Schools' (NAIS) School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) program, which determines a family's need and their expected family contribution (EFC). Personalized Tuition Program decisions are made independently from admission decisions and do not affect an applicant's chances for admission. Cape Cod Academy adheres to the NAIS Principles of Good Practice with regards to its financial assistance process.

Parents need to complete the PFS using the CCA code 2074. (In the case of divorced or separated parents, the equivalent form from the non-custodial parent must be submitted as well.) The school also requires that applicants submit a copy of all federal IRS forms filed in the previous year as well as the most recent W2 forms. For more information about SSS, call 800-344-8328 or visit their website at https://www.solutionsbysss.com/.

PERSONALIZED TUITON PROGRAM APPLICATION

The Cost of Cape Cod Academy
Tuition for each student is based on a sliding scale and is determined after a student is accepted to CCA, and the family is notified with their child’s acceptance.

The Personalized Tuition Program helps close the gap between the cost of attending Cape Cod Academy and a family’s ability to fund their child’s education. Further information regarding fees for the various programs offered at Cape Cod Academy may be found on our website at www.capecodacademy.org.

Tuition alone does not cover the entire cost of educating a student at CCA. During the year, we will ask you to contribute additional financial support, to the best of your ability, to our fundraising programs.

Payment Schedules
A student’s entire tuition bill may be paid in a single payment due by July 1, 2024 directly to CCA. Alternatively, families may choose to split their bill into two installments, with the first payment due by July 1, 2024 (60 percent of the balance) followed by a second payment due by December 1, 2024 (the remaining balance due).  Families may also arrange to pay their child’s tuition bill utilizing a ten-month installment plan. All families are expected to utilize Smart Tuition, our tuition management system, to pay tuition in their preferred time frame, with all tuition expected to be paid in full no later than March 15, 2025. Should you have specific questions related to student accounts, please feel free to contact the Business Office.

Tuition Refund Insurance Policy
The tuition refund insurance policy is included in the enrollment packet. If a student leaves CCA during the school year, a prorated amount for tuition paid for the remainder of the school year will be partially reimbursed for unused school days based upon the criteria outlined in the policy for medical or voluntary withdrawal or involuntary dismissal. Cape Cod Academy strongly recommends all families enroll in this plan.

Financial Aid/Personalized Tuition awards are grant awards and do not need to be repaid. In addition to need-based financial aid, Cape Cod Academy awards several merit-based scholarships each year.
