Cape Cod Academy held its first day of school for the 2018-19 school year on Wednesday, September 5th. More than 200 students were greeted by all staff and faculty members.
Senior class members welcomed the younger students to school with a “high five”. Chad Small, Interim Head of School, welcomed all students at a morning meeting. He discussed the importance of learning something new. As an example, he told students that he always wanted to juggle, so he received juggling lessons at the meeting from an eighth-grade student and from CCA’s Head of the Middle School. Mr. Small said that he will share his new juggling skills later in the year. He encouraged all students to discover new things and to know they are in a great place to learn.
